The Graduate School of Human Sciences (GSHS) organized a hybrid workshop on ‘Discover yourself and others with MBTI’ on the 10th of February 2023 at Salle D’ Expo, Assumption University, Huamak Campus. Altogether 87 participants (34 in-person and 53 online) registered for the workshop including students and faculty members from different disciplines at GSHS. The workshop was facilitated by a team of certified MBTI trainers from Brighton Connection, Singapore (www.brightonconnection.org.sg), led by their team leader Pastor Sally Tan.
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assessment is one of the world’s most popular personality tools. It is a tool for self-awareness and improvement. It provides a positive language for understanding and valuing individual differences. With practical insight that’s easy to understand and implement, the MBTI assessment has helped thousands of organizations and millions of people around the world improve how they communicate, learn, and work.

The feedback of the participants was excellent, which was indicated by an average score of 4.70 on a scale of 5 that measured the participant’s overall satisfaction.
Dr. Parvathy Varma, the Program Director of the Programs in Counseling Psychology welcomed the gathering. Dr.Chayada Thanavisuth, the Dean of the GSHS presented the mementos and thanked the facilitators and the participants for making the event successful. Ms.Afsheen Sardar, a Ph.D.CP student, was the MC of the session while Dr.Santhosh Mohanan, Lecturer, GSHS, coordinated this workshop.
