The Graduate School of Human Sciences at Assumption University organized a successful Student, Faculty, and Staff Development activity on February 26, 2023. More than 70 members of GSHS participated in the Strength in Diversity event, which included a visit to Baanmaichailane and Amphwa Floating Market. The student committee arranged icebreaking games on the coaches, and team T-shirts were provided to all participants.
During the event, Baanmaichailane Resort hosted team building and sustainability activities, including boat tours to see clam farming and mangrove planting. Some adventurous members even tried their hand at water skiing. After the activities, everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch at the resort before heading to the Amphawa floating market.
The Amphawa floating market, known for its rich Thai art, culture, and tradition, was the perfect place for participants to explore and learn. All members had the opportunity to explore the market until 5 pm before returning to Assumption University by 8 pm. This activity was a great way to build camaraderie and foster diversity among the members of the GSHS community.
